ABOUT OUR INTERIORS

The spaces of our interiors have to unite into wholes and separate into their own intimacy, to follow the life, the needs and moods of their users. They have considerable height, very much light and no hard boundaries between the exterior and interior. Every architect has a great responsibility with regard how much light he or she offers to or takes away from the people within the walls they inhabit. Our materials determine the form and have to satisfy the function by establishing true harmony. Our materials must contain, along with Light, Stone, Wood and Thought, the fifth element of exceptional importance – Fire, the catalyst of the original feeling of safety of a home, of living and the joy of living. Our interior needs the Artisan. The Artisan and the Craft carry the idea and define the real possibilities of creation, realisation, in short the scope of the work. It is especially important in the interior where everything is within the reach of hand or the eye. And in the end, perhaps the most important: investors are always active participants and not just procurers of funds or users.

They endow our architecture with the fourth, necessary dimension by elevating it from paper design to the spaces of their lives.
